Hickory Brands, Inc., originally Old Hickory Shoelace Co, was founded in 1923 in Hickory, NC. From the beginning Hickory Brands established itself as one of the leading manufacturers of shoelaces.   

Today, Hickory Brands is one of the largest domestic manufacturers of woven, knitted, and braided narrow fabrics, such as, shoelaces, cording, webbing, and various braids. Hickory also is one of the leading distributors of Shoe Care Chemicals and Accessories in the U.S. Most of our products are sold as a Private Label Brand or under our own 10 Seconds Brand.  

Our customers include many major retail chain stores, distributors, and other shoe, clothing, and industrial manufacturers. Our products are sold nationally throughout the United States as well as Canada, Europe, and many other countries. 

Because of our flexibility, we are now distributors of various types of products including Socks, Janie Spot Remover, Project Runway Jewelry, Insoles, Sports Medicine and Recovery Gear, and even distribute Gatorade for one the largest sporting goods retailers in the U.S.  

Our custom print division, Shoefly Designs, is one of the leading companies in producing Custom Printed Shoelaces and Lanyards. Hickory's DryMax Sock Line is a patented protective sock, proven effective in preventing blisters by moving moisture off the skin to the outer layer of the sock. The process technology is proprietary to Hickory Brands, Inc.
