Location:  Yarn Plant, Lincolnton , GA

Jimtex Yarns is a leading textile recycled yarn spinner company.  We were “GREEN” before green was cool!  We continue to grow our facility, and are looking to hire a Colorist/Quality Control person for our spinning facility.

Requirements:  We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic, and hardworking team player.

Duties will include:  Development of colors, raw material auditing, lot verification, and eventually fiber testing through the various phases of yarn spinning.

Compensation:  Salary will be commensurate with experience level.

SEAMS Member Bristol Custom Solutions is seeking a Senior
Pattern Maker / Technical Design Engineer
.

 

Location:  Bristol, TN

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years previous cut-and-sew
    design/development experience.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Continuing
    education courses preferred.

  • Hands-on design, pattern making, and sewing experience
    required.

  • Extensive knowledge of fabrics, threads, sewing equipment,
    and sewing accessories.

  • Extensive knowledge of sewing techniques.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to take product ideas from concept through prototype
    development.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and communicate design issues with
    management.

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in fast-paced
    manufacturing environments.

  • Excellent organization skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of computer operating systems.

  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple projects
    simultaneously.

  • Previous experience working with Lectra integrated
    technology or similar engineering platform.

  • Previous experience working with Diamino marker making
    software a PLUS.

  • Previous experience working with Modaris pattern
    development software a PLUS.

  • Previous experience with technical bag design/development
    a PLUS.

  • Highly motivated self starter with advanced creative ability.

 

Duties will include:

  • Manage entire prototype development process from idea to
    physical sample creation.

  • Provide mentoring, troubleshooting, and coaching to
    Sewing Operators as needed.

  • Provide technical feedback regarding sewing techniques
    and product specifications.

  • Provide design consultation to prospective OEM &
    prototype development customers.

  • Maintain keen sense of quality in every aspect of the
    production process.

 

Compensation:  Solid salary with full benefits and highly

Sewing Machine Mechanics.

 

Location: Washington, New York, Illinois, and Texas. Company
will provide relocation.

 

Requirements:

  • Must be accountable and perform assigned tasks
    accurately and completely;

  • Must possess independent thinking and troubleshooting
    skills;

  • Must be well organized, work well under pressure, and be
    able to prioritize work assignments to meet established
    deadlines;

  • Must be able to analyze machine repairs required
    independently and expedite part orders efficiently and in the
    most cost effective manner.

Duties will include:

  • Maintain machines to maximum operating capability at all
    times;

  • Perform required repairs as needed on industrial sewing
    machines throughout the facility;

  • Order parts as needed.

Compensation:

  • Negotiable;
