Our members tell us that the single most valuable benefit of membership in the SEAMS Association is access to  networking opportunities.  SEAMS hosts two networking conferences each year to bring together members to share ideas, problems, and solutions.  In addition, our detailed Online Database of members and their capabilities and services gives us a way to find help for members who need something or someone to help them with a problem.  The access to a wide range of other members is an intangible but vital benefit of SEAMS Membership.  Bookmark our Events webpage to keep up with upcoming events and read about past events.

Sourcing:
SEAMS offers Sourcing Referrals for all of our members through the SEAMS Online Database.  Each day, we get multiple calls in the office seeking sources for Made-in-USA sewn products, supplies, and services.

SEAMS Members may utilize the SEAMS website to post memos about items needed or items for sale, positions available, and work available.  These web posts may also be broadcasted, by email, to all SEAMS Members.  To post a memo on our Buy/Sell Market, Job Market, or Open Production webpages, or to send an email broadcast, call the SEAMS Office at 803-772-5861.

SEAMS Members have opportunities to receive and post memos of Positions Available.  Notices of positions available are placed through the SEAMS Office and are then broadcasted to all SEAMS Members via email, fax, and/or direct contact.  This process can be made confidential.   We have saved some members over $30,000 in professional fees.   If you are seeking a new position in the industry, we can help you, too!  Call the SEAMS Office at 803-772-5861.

SEAMS broadcasts notices of Bid Opportunities for various levels of government and private agencies.  SEAMS Members in good standing receive these notices via email broadcast twice weekly.

SEAMS offers consultation services in the areas of Management and Engineering for the Sewn Products Industry.  Through the extensive network of other members, the SEAMS Office can often find advice and help on technical matters.

SEAMS Members have opportunities to attend technical and management seminars throughout the year.  Plant tours are offered to give you a chance to see what your colleagues in the industry are doing.
