Networking:

Our members tell us that the single most valuable benefit of membership in SEAMS is access to  networking opportunities.  SEAMS hosts two meetings each year to bring together members to share ideas, problems, and solutions.  In addition, our detailed database of members and their capabilities gives us a way to find help for members who need something or someone to help them with a problem.  The access to a wide range of other members is an intangible but vital benefit to membership.

Contract Sourcing:
SEAMS offers Sourcing for all of our members through our online database.  We also offer an Email/Fax Broadcast Service to members to spread the word about their sourcing needs.

SEAMS offers free consultation services in the areas of Management and Engineering for the Sewn Products Industry. Through the extensive network of other members, the SEAMS office can often find advice and help on technical matters.

SEAMS Members have opportunities to attend technical and management seminars throughout the year. Plant tours are offered to give you a chance to see what your colleagues in the industry are doing.

SEAMS Members have opportunities to receive and post notices of Positions Available. Notices of Positions Available are placed through the SEAMS office and are then transmitted to all SEAMS Members via Broadcast Email, Fax, and direct contact.  This process can be made confidential.  We have saved some members over $30,000 in professional fees.
